Did you know that in Canada even a simple funeral can cost over a few thousand dollars? It is a sad reality that many in our affluent society cannot genuinely afford the funeral expenses for themselves or for a departed loved one and as a result have to rely on the community for support.

Assisting with funeral arrangements for needy members of the community is a social obligation. With this in mind, ICNA Relief Canada has set up a ‘Funeral (Janaza) Support Fund’ which offers Financial Assistance to help needy families cover some of the expenses related to the funeral of a deceased family member.
